Each October Sistercare presents its
annual fundraiser,
The Songbird Cafe,
to raise awareness of domestic violence and to raise
greatly needed funds
for the services Sistercare provides to
battered women and
their children. October is National Domestic
Violence Awareness month.
Financial support from
individuals, businesses, corporations, civic and faith
organizations is VITAL for Sistercare to continue
providing services and meeting the needs of an
increasing number of battered women and their
children.
